If you have an I2C trackpad and want gestures the only way so far is to use trackpar elan satellite kext, which obviously only works if your touchpad is elan. This Kext is awesome ’cause it makes the trackpad very much precise, in the other hand, i recognizes the trackpad as a mouse, and I don’t have any working gestures on it.

And there is a problem, at the beginning I had to install new kext to recognise my CSR dongle and that nearly worked. I’d work better too. Pretty sure some of those will be recognized like native apple hardware. So I can still use voodooi2c with appleps2smarttouch?
And I dont have much time now to look it up on DSDT as the other guy suggested cause i am studying for an exam. Your trackpad will still have gestures and your keyboard will be restored to how it was. Is there a standard way to change the plist from the kext? Want to add to the discussion? For two finger scrolling you need to change the speed of the Scrolling once to get it work and also have to enable them in Trackpad preferences.
