Firestudio Project Universal Control and ASIO4ALL Buffer Sizes With Pro Tools 10
Things were fine in Pro Tools 9, and this has only occured since upgrading to Pro Tools So what did I do? Bottom line question is: After getting to the “restart your computer now” instruction, and upon rebooting, nothing else happens. Going to the Device Manager and manually searching for the driver in the Universal Control folder results in a “you have the best driver installed” message. I have a 64 bit system with fully updated windows 8 pro.

After I purchase it I’ll be back to letcha ya know if i need help. Universal Control, in my experiences, has more issues with the DAW open. I’m using the right kind of firewire card OHCI compliant Btw i see u live in Illinois Ok cool thanks, i’m leaninolsg toward purchasing the firestudio project since it sounds like i won’t have a problem with it working with pro tools.
Or what I can do about it? Now, windows is not recognizing any speakers being plugged in unless its actually plugged into my computer when before it would just be plugged into the firestudio I can pull up projects just fine, and they seem to play the tracks on the left are recognizing the sounds but I am getting no sound now, maybe something deep in the settings or universal controller got messed up?

I just wish the people at Avid had spent more time on making sure that all interfaces could work with no problems with the software, instead of just putting it out. You can however change it within a DAW. Cubase that perform automatic ASIO latency compensation.
