IBM does make the best, most durable laptops out there–with one exception I then went to CompUSA and bought a 40 to 44 pin adapter do they agter have power connectors on them? I believe that something has messed up the BIOS but after flashing the bios which btw have little to nothing as far as changing any thing in there, no ACPI settings at all, much less anything else Right now im dumbfounded.

Once I got out of the game, I was fine so I chalked the freeze up to either my broadband connection or the server to which I was playing. Since the laptop won’t even boot with a windows xp CD, I don’t think the hardrive mattered.
